The total cost of the project is 202 000 euro.

The project shall conduct an analysis of the situation with eating disorders in Bulgaria with the aim to assess the needs for health services in the field. In correspondence with this there will be developed interventions for improving low-threshold mental health services for early intervention and prevention of eating disorders which will be applied with a serious transfer of experience and knowledge from the Norwegian organisation “Counselling for eating disorders”. As a next step a centre for multidisciplinary therapy for serious eating disorders will be created. The centre is going to apply the best world known intensive model for evidence-based therapy for eating disorders which are sometimes very serious and life-threatening conditions.
